Description
The Crocks Pack Moli INR 18650 P28A 14.8V 5600mAh 4S2P 60A/70A Discharge Li-ion Drone Battery Pack
is a high-capacity, high-current Li-ion battery pack ideal for drones, UAVs, and RC applications that demand both voltage and endurance. This pack uses eight Molicel INR‑18650 P28A cells arranged in a 4-series, 2-parallel (4S2P) configuration. With this layout, it provides a nominal voltage of 14.8 V (4 × ~3.6 V) and a total capacity of 5.6 Ah, giving substantial energy for longer flight times or power-hungry setups.
Thanks to the P28A cells’ excellent power handling, this pack supports continuous discharge up to 60 A, with a peak burst capacity of around 70 A. This makes it capable of handling aggressive throttle maneuvers, high-current motor draws, or fast acceleration without compromising safety or cell health.
Molicel’s P28A cells are well-regarded for their balance of capacity and discharge capability. According to the datasheet, each cell has:
Typical capacity: 2,800 mAh
Nominal voltage: 3.6 V
Maximum discharge current: 35 A per cell
Internal resistance (AC, 1kHz): ~20 mΩ
Cell size: 18.6 mm × 65.2 mm
Cell weight: up to ~46 g
To support safe charging, the pack is equipped with a 4-cell balance connector, making sure each series cell remains in proper balance during CC/CV charge cycles. The discharge wiring is robust enough to handle high current loads reliably.
